Historic
Annapolis Foundation presented a Preservation Award for the Museum's
Boatshed Exhibit at the HAF Annual Meeting on October 3rd at the William
Paca House and Gardens. Buck Buchanan accepted for the Museum while
all the other Museum volunteers were busy putting together the Renaissance
Party at Eastport Yacht Club. Congratulations to Peter Tasi for a
great design and to Peg Wallace for putting in this application! |

Came, We Planted, We Mulched

- The Annapolis Maritime Museum recently hosted the "Oyster Kids,"
a group of 63 fifth graders from Hillsmere Elementary School, for
a holiday party at the museum's McNasby Oyster Company building. Read

Gary
Jobson Joins Museum Board
Gary
Jobson, world-class sailor, television commentator, author and corporate
advisor based in Annapolis, has joined the Annapolis Maritime Museum's
board of directors.
"We're
delighted that Gary has become part of our dynamic team of volunteers,"
said Peg Wallace, museum founder and board chairman. "This
is an exciting time for the museum, and having someone with Gary's
know-how and renown will help keep us on course as we grow."
When
he's not busy promoting the museum, Gary will be covering America's
Cup 2003 for ESPN and Sailing World Magazine. |
